Understand application version number

The version number of the application complies with the following code:

• Three numbers separated by points (eg 1.4.8)
• The first digit corresponds to the major version (considered as stable and functional)
• The second number is the minor version (set a fix version with bug opportunities for new features)
• The third digit corresponds to the debug version (no new functionality added). When

this figure is even, it is a stable version if it is a test version.

• 1.4.2 is the stable version
• Version 1.4.3 is unstable (may include a significant number of errors or functionality inhibited)

The unstable versions are the versions on the source repository.

Alpha versions can be released, you should be aware of this:

• Many dysfunctions
• Usable in practice but with risk of data lose
• Officially provided only for testing
• No compatibility between versions is ensured
